Unfortunately for Don Pyne and Don Healy things didn't go to plan on the day and with both lads suffering and having to pull up before the end.

Doneraille 5k

The 1st race of the Ballyhoura Series took place on Fri 1st June, it's tough enough race heading from the pathways of Doneraille Park tru the off road trails also round the park. Fantastic scenery all the way around the route. We had 6 runners taking part, 1st home was Peter Walsh followed by Darren Flynn, John Griffin, Clo Fitzgibbon, Helena Noonan and Mary-Clare Healy. Sadly the timing decided to pack in at the end of the race but the race was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
